13 July 2015 New Area and New Companion

Dear friends and family,

As always, I hope all is well on the homefront. Things are doing mighty fine down here.}

First off, I have a new area AND a new companion!!!! Yaaaaaaay!!!!

I am now serving in San Bernabé 2A with Elder Mendoza from.........Rose Park SLC Utah!!!!!! My first Utahn!!! I, in fact, am his first Utahn companion as well.

The work is really different here, and a lot faster as well. We have found various new people to teach and I am enjoying the work a lot more than I did the last change. Elder Mendoza and I share a number of the same interests (something I could not say about my other two companions) and we entertain ourselves talking about such every once in a while. We have, however, been pretty well focused on the work, and therefore had a lot of success.

San Bernebe is a lower class industrial area with a lot less money, and a lot more area than Los Andes. It should be interesting for me to get to know the area so that I can navigate it.

Sé que el Señor nos ama y Dios es nuestro Padre. Sé que aunque hay mucho oposición en este vida y muchos desafios, podemos vencer todos pro medio de la expiación.

Los amo mucho,

Elder Lambert

6 July 2015 - Sean Speaks Englsih

Dear Family and Friends,

So, I hope everyone had a lovely 4th and all that. I heard some pretty exciting things happened back home on that day.

As for me, it was just another day of work, except I made it a point to speak with my companion exclusively in English. Also, we ordered Burgers that night. It was a good time.

So, Erika (the wife of the recently reactivated member, David) decided to get baptized on the 16th since it was her husbands birthday. But, that means I will not be in the area at the time, since I will likely be changed out of Los Andes tomorrow (still don't know yet, waiting on the call). I might be able to come see the baptism anyway.

Speaking of all that, David received the Aaronic Priesthood yesterday and bore his testimony in sacrament meeting. It was really quite amazing.

Oh, and we also have a new mission president! President McArthur seems like a pretty fun guy, and I am excited to work with him. We had a meet n greet thing with him on Wednesday and he ended the meeting by explaining the story of the shout "Hoorah for Israel!!!" and then proceeded to inform that it was officially one of the missions new catchphrases.

Sé que el Señor nos conoce y ama mas que podemos entender. Sé que hay personas preparadas a recibir el Evangelio. Solo hay que buscar los.

Los Amo,

Elder Lambert
