Dearest Family and Friends,
We have come to a new transfer cycle and guess where I am and who I'm with!!! The same!
I was one of two whole companionships in my zone that did not change this transfer cycle. I am still in Los Andes (yay!) and I am still with Elder Padilla (yay!). The reality is, I kind of wanted this the whole time. I know that there is a lot that I can learn from my companion, and a lot that I can do still in this area. It will still be a challenge, but that's the mission.
Our new convert is doing really well and we have started teaching his wife, but she has a few impediments to get over.
I have really found that something that my trainer taught me is true: when you teach by and through the spirit, you can teach far beyond your own understanding. I find myself learning new concepts and principles dealing with the lessons as I teach them. When I truly have the spirit with me, I come to new ideas that help me to explain the principles better. It is truly amazing to be able to see the influence of a true spiritual connection. This is something that I don't think I ever really had before. It's amazing.
Sé que el Espiritu Santo, nos da conocimiento, y que Él es el mensajero de Dios para nosotros. Sé que nuestro Padre Celestial ha escojió personas para escuchar su voz y que todos nosotros, como miembros, tenemos oportunidades de compartir el Evangelio con estos personas.
