Sean's Week - A testimony in English

Dearest, darlingest, friends and family,

Happy Memorial Day!!!

I'm in Mexico, and as you can imagine, they don't celebrate a day dedicated to fallen American soldiers ;_; Nonetheless, I will celebrate the day....somehow.

This week, short as it may have been, was mighty nice. We had a baptism the day after my last letter was sent and it was amazing. I don't know if I can describe it better, so I will use the words I sent to my mission president: "Helping a man that I made contact with just over a month ago come out of the waters of baptism, and seeing him beam with contentment is something that I will never forget. It was especially neat since he got the opportunity to see another person's baptism the Sunday of his confirmation and ordination.I have high hopes for our new brother Jesús. "

It should also be noted that changes come today. I will not know if I will be staying or going until the end of the day, so you can all look forward to that for the next week.

In honor of Memorial Day, I think I will write my testimony in English:

I know that this work in which I am in is the work of the Lord. I know that we can come to live with our Heavenly Father and gain eternal life through living the principles and gaining the ordinances of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that God places people within his church in their callings so that they, and all the members that are affected by them, can grow and progress.

I love you all,

Elder Lambert
