8 June - Maybe change is on the way

Dearest Friends and Family,

The work continues in Nuevo Leon!

This week was a little strange, and it felt a little unproductive, but we still continue to see the fruits of our labors. First off, we wound up getting involved in the planning of a baptismal service for a child born in the covenant....still not sure why. We planned the whole thing with the family and made the programs for them, and then two days later (Saturday) we came to the church to find that nobody (ourselves included) had the foresight to fill the font..... Long story short, we ended up staying at the church for a good five hours waiting for a stupid hole in the floor to fill with water. Other than that, the service was lovely.

Tomorrow we are going to have a zone conference, mixed with a temple visit. It is the last time that President Swapp is going to be able to address us, so he decided to make it a big deal this last change. I can already tell that it's going to be a big deal and that I will probably have a decent amount to write about next week. It is going to be strange having a change in mission presidents during the second quarter of my mission. I will report  on how cool President McArthur is as time goes on.

Elder Lambert
